About The South London Law Society
Founded in 1961, the South London Law Society exists to promote the best interests of all legal practitioners in South London area. We are an integral and important part of South London and the City ensuring good links with local and national organisations such as The Law Society, Universities, Chamber of Commerce, Judiciary/Tribunals and the Police, Pro bono groups and charities.
Membership includes: international and regional networking events, legal training, professional mentoring, social activities, discounts for members and a professional magazine delivered to your practice partners. Plus, you’ll be able to have your views heard on the National Law Society Council, raised on your behalf by our Council Members.
With the profession experiencing an unprecedented period of change, it’s vital that solicitors unite to ensure their voices are heard. We make representation to the Law Society of England and Wales, parliament and international bodies.
We also have a legal advice clinic and varied programme of seminars run in conjunction with London South Bank University, as well as a Junior Lawyers Division for those with up to 5 years PQE.
